1. They made her neck longer, eyes both lower a larger, neck thinner, face more squished.
4. I think it is completely fine to change the way people look if they have the persons consent. Maybe they should also include that the person has been photoshoped.

magazines part II

Imaged Based: Usually has images of one or more people. They might be looking into the camera, but it depends. But it doesn't have to be a person. The image just has to do with the topic of choice.

Illustration Based: The illustrations usually are pretty ironic and unique, to draw attention.

Type Based: Covers like this are pretty rare and are meant to be provoking. These covers are usually involving a tad bit of mystery and makes the reader want to read more. They are usually pretty unique.

Concept Based: This cover can be a mix of all the covers. This is best when used to show a funny/shocking message.

my favorite cover

"The Walking Dead, the most popular drama on cable television, also happens to be filmed exclusively in metro Atlanta. Which made the show a no-brainer (no pun intended) for our cover. We reached out to the films' stars— Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus—months in advance, hoping we could shoot them right in our own backyard. Naturally the only time their schedules overlapped was 2,500 miles away in Hollywood, so we organized a last-minute shoot there, hiring not just stylists and makeup artists for the subjects, but also body part models whose hands were zombified by a special makeup artist. We originally envisioned one cover with both Lincoln and Reedus, but once photographer John Russo shot them individually, we knew we had to do a split run. It was the right call; the show's rabid fans are still contacting us from around the world, wanting us to mail them both covers."

This cover is by far my favorite. I feel that it captures a lot of elements that are pleasing to the eye. I really like how the subject just sits there as the hands grab at him, he just looks very serious. It looks as though he really tried to take a portrait during the zombie apocalypse.

Even though the background is distracting his bright shirt is more distracting.

I think I will do a portrait of my little brother. He is very active and loves to run around in our backyard. I'm thinking that maybe I will get a photo of him doing his thing from a tree that overarches out background.

A. I think that the most powerful photo is the one with Ian hugging his family. This is the most powerful because it shows that the army takes it's toll on every one, not just the people joining.
B. The images do a major role by showing all of the moments, not just the sad ones. They show how many different emotions a person goes through during this experience.
C. With some of the pictures, I don't understand them at first glance but the captions definitely help with that problem.
D. Ian Fisher is a young boy who joins the army and goes to fight in Iraq.
E. Most of the photos are in third person.
F.
1. They are usually around three sentences.
2. The first sentences usually say exactly hat is happening in the photo.
3.  The second sentence gives info that you can't get just by looking at the photo.
4. The third sentences usually adds on to the second.
5. Only a few provide captions.
6. There are a few that have four.
G. I believe that visual things speak louder than words ever will.
H. Although pictures, in my opinion, are better they can't tell ever little detail like a story can.
